Hi guys! How has your week been? I am so glad that it is finally Friday! This week’s theme is To Be Yourself, Be Different.
And what better person to describe this than Luna Lovegood? (I love the Harry Potter series!) Have you ever thought of weird (and awesome) people as courageous? They have enough courage to be themselves. That’s more than most people can say. Because deep down, we are all our own kind of weird. ‘Normal’ is as much as a stereotype as ‘perfect’. Normal doesn’t naturally exist. At least thats what I think. At a young age, people are either taught or decide, that being normal will make people except them. That being like everyone else, will bring good attention to themselves.
I don’t believe in that at all.
I believe that we must all be our own kind of doughnut. We might be vanilla or chocolate, rainbow sprinkles or glazed, plump circles or missing a little something in the middle. We are all beautiful doughnuts. We were created/born perfectly. Doughnuts don’t have to look perfect to taste yummy. They just have to have good insides.
Recently I have been craving doughnuts, is it obvious?
All of us will make a change in the world. How big or small that change is, is up to you. But it takes a brilliant and unusual doughnut to win the cook off. Ok, enough doughnuts. But really, a clone won’t make as big of a difference as an original would.
Be the good you want to see in the world. (Who said that? I can’t remember.)
Have a good Friday and weekend!
